Police Officer Certifications

All police officers are eligible to apply and train for certifications to enhance the duties and responsibilities within their career at the Los Santos Police Department.

BORDER PATROL

Border Patrol Agents are responsible for the borders of the State of San Andreas. The main focus of these agents is to prevent illegal border crossings and illegal imports and exports.


TEU

The Traffic Enforcement Unit enforces traffic safety laws and manages traffic flow. TEU also performs other traffic related tasks, such as impounding vehicles, handling disabled vehicles or crashes, and administering field sobriety tests.

S.W.A.T.

The SWAT team is tasked with responding to high risk situations and bringing them swiftly to conclusion. The goal of the SWAT team is to minimize casualties by implementing advanced deescalation tactics.

DETECTIVE

Detectives are responsible for investigating criminal activity. They interview witnesses and victims, gather evidence, question suspects, issue arrest warrants, make judgments, and respond to leads.
